What do I do with her...
October 28, 2012 @ 11:25:34 am
Juuuust getting some pent up anger out.

Warning: Extremely long and hateful post ahead. Open entry at your own risk. You have been warned.

There's a girl at school who's very narcissistic and has a terrible attitude. At first I didn't know how atrocious she was so we became friends. However, as the year progressed I started noticing some...abnormalities. She would constantly talk about her breast size even when it's obvious no one wants to hear about them (she still does actually) and always somehow finds a way to revert the subject of a conversation back to herself. Also, she recently got a boyfriend (who's equally as strange as she is but in a different way), and now she won't shut up about him! 98% of what she talks about is what they do together. Sometimes she tells me nasty stuff they do that I seriously don't want to know about and should be kept between themselves.

On top of that, she tries way too hard to be sexy. She tries to "sexify" everything all the time and it just sounds so stupid when she does it. For example, for the last three years she wrote "have a sex-tastic break" (or something similar) to conclude her messages in my yearbooks. She's so awful that some people have started avoiding me because I talk to her. People have actually confronted her about how annoying she can get but she just doesn't get it! Every time someone tells her something about her she doesn't like, she always says something along the lines of, "she's just jealous because she has no boobs but mine are huge" or "she's a slut who wants to be more like me but doesn't want to admit it". No offense but she isn't even that pretty. -_- She thinks she has a nice butt (and she talks about how her boyfriend says she has an ass) but, honestly, it's pretty flat. The only thing that makes her look somewhat curvy is her rack. That's all!

Another thing that pisses me off about her is that she is completely ungrateful. My friend and I went to a flee market and there was a stand that was selling really cute and cheap jewelry. We decided to buy a bunch to give away to friends, and since we had extra and we didn't want the girl to feel left out (she was there when we gave someone else something), we decided to let her choose between the three earrings we had left. Her reaction? "Uhh...Do I have to pick one?" She said that in a tone that pretty much said, "Uhh...I don't want those cheap pieces of crap." And when she took one she didn't even say thank you. b**** we just gave you free jewelry! The least you can do is show some fake gratitude! When she had it in her hand, I was half expecting her to grumble "eww..." because of her facial expression.

And the last major reason she pisses me off is that she is one of the worst project partners anyone could have. Whenever we're assigned to group projects where we have to give an oral presentation at the end, the first thing she says is, "I'm not going up. Someone else do it." That s*** seriously pisses me off. She doesn't even work on anything while everyone else is getting the project done, yet she has the nerve to order others around while she just sits on her a** the whole time texting or talking to people in other groups? I'm fed up with her!

I honestly don't want her to hang around me anymore but if I confront her, it'll be extremely awkward for me for the next several months because she sits next to me in one of my classes. Thank goodness I only have to take that class for one semester...After that I'm free from her!

I feel so much better after letting it all out. My friend (who also hates the same girl) and I sometimes rant to each other about her but that just doesn't seem to do it for me.

She reminds me of a friend my daughter has.

It may suck to sit next to her for the rest of the semester if you end the friendship, but mentally you will be MUCH better off if you no longer have anything to do with her.

It is good to let it out, but in years to come you'll look back and laugh at her. Really is her behaviour worth getting upset about?

Confront her and sever it. So what if it's awkward sitting next to her in class? Although I think you will find to your surprise you will feel free instead; it will be she who will feel awkward, as she deserves to.

Not only will you be doing yourself a favor, but you'll be doing her one as well in the long run.

It's quite sad really for her, because it's obvious to me at least, that "sex" is the only way she can feel wanted, and loved. Others are a threat to her in that respect and so she knocks them constantly, while verbally putting herself up on a pedastal. (she feels a constant need to 'convince' herself....
Her boyfriend seems to realize too, and taps that need. - or so she is telling you; it might not even be true that he finds her a** sexy.
Usually when people keep sharing such unwanted stories the opposite is actually the reality. )

I don't think it's worth talking to her though. In the end it'll still be awkward because she sits with my circle friends at lunch as well. Since it's my last year of high school, I won't be seeing her again after we graduate anyway, so I'm just going to avoid creating any drama and make the remainder of my year as relaxing as possible.

I think you're spot-on about her wanting to convince herself. Her boyfriend is pretty weird as well though so I wouldn't be surprised if he actually thinks her a** is legitimately sexy and whatnot. The way they met was him hitting on her at a store so that's already a little desperate-sounding on both sides (at least to me).

To be honest she really isn't worth getting upset about. It just makes me feel better to rant from time to time and get others' opinions as well.
