I haven't been to a new years party since 2001. I wish I could go see the fire works for a while, but I don't want to disrupt the kids bed time. For me it's just another day.
I understand! I've got a 5-year-old and there's not much I can do. Sooooo, I suppose I shall sit at home and mope. Or not, probably complain I'm bored, which I do on other days besides New Year's Eve . . . so nothing new there!
