So 2 weeks ago after a couple of bottles wine I had a chat with a woman i vaguely know, on facebook. It is something I've never did before and it's the same 24 year old I mentioned on another thread
We are aware of who each other is but haven't really had much in the way of conversation. I decided in my drunken wisdom to strike up a conversation. I kinda lied to start the convo, she's a hairdresser so I said my daughter had slime stuck in her hair and what was the best thing to remove this?
*Side story for context* Making slime is a popular child passtime these days in the UK, it involves benign household items, my daughter was playing with her friend the day before and ended up getting a load of her homemade slime stuck in her hair. Warm soapy water removed this thou.
We had a conversation for a bit and I let her know that i was interested in asking her out for a date but didn't realise she was only 24, to which she said she was actually only 23 and would be 24 on her birthday later in the year. We left the conversation in friendly way. I did not think or expect anything further to come of it and made no other attempt at contact.
2 weeks later (yesterday) she messages me out of the blue, asking how I was doing, we had a chuckle about the slime incident and had a pleasant chat about what we were both up to. Again ending on a friendly note, but again i have no expectations. I'm very aware of the 20 year age gap
Tonight she messages me again just out of the blue, i'm just sitting watching tv and she fb messages me for a chat.
Not really sure what to make of this.
if se messages you again then ask if she fancies a face to face chat ..is she says she can't make it then just forget about her. |
