Happy Holidays -
December 25, 2007 @ 09:06:10 am
This year's Christmas is not that bad. Sure there won't be any gift(s) for me under my tree, that's alright. It's not about the getting, but the giving.

I worked for a few hours this Christmas Eve (I haven't done that for years). But it was actually worth going to work. I brought each of my co-workers a stocking filled with one gift & some goodies to munch on. They gave me in return was a "Thank You" and a big smile. So this started my day feeling content. Then tonight, I got to spend a little time with a darling friend - loveis. She had not been on since December 13, 2007. Lurking on TFS, that's when I noticed that she was on. This turns my feeling of contentment to JOY. I am glad to see that she was able to come on TFS and spend some time with others as well as me. I continue to keep her, her husband, and dog in my thoughts & prayers. I do hope they get blessed, and things turn around for the better for them. Well, then after a bit, I moved away from my computer. I finished wrapping some gifts. I then notice that I got more than I had originally thought. What a wonderful feeling to know that I am giving more when I thought I didn't have enough. And I really watched how much money I had spent on gifts. Okay, with that said, my joy is turned into relief, surprise, and just down right Yeah for me.
Christmas Day, December 25, 2007 looks pretty good. God Bless to all of you. Merry Christmas.

For me theres more fun in the giving than the recieving. We can give joy for free by being there for our loved ones now but even better all year! Merry christmas to you!
