Wasn't it gorgeous yesterday? The sun shining so high & brightly in the sky. The temperature was absolutely wonderful for Fall season. I don't think anyone could have asked for a more outstanding Saturday like yesterday. 8)

I attended one of the most wonderful weddings yesterday that I have ever been honored in being invited to. The groom is the Bible Study leader of my church. And the bride is one of the groups members. They both looked radiant and glowing. The groom's father is the Pastor of the church, and he did the ceremony. The pride definitely showed on the Pastor's face that glorious day! To me personally, what made this wedding so wonderful & special is that before they did the vow's and "I Do's", the groom requested to his dad (Pastor) to be anointed. He told his dad to pour it all over him at the wedding. The groom said that he wanted the oil to not only go over his head, but poured over his suit. The groom obviously did not care about his appearance that day...he just wanted to be anointed in the presence of God & the church congregation/guests. Of course the Pastor (dad) did not pour a bunch of anointing oil all over him. The Pastor did indeed anoint the groom. I must say, and the Pastore said it too before all of us, that I have never seen anyone get anointed at their wedding. My heart was in awe, when the Pastor announced the groom's (his son) request of getting anointed before the vows & "I Do's".

What a wonderful couple! What a wonderful wedding! What a wonderful day! God made His presence known on that day, in that church, and at this particular wedding.
