Yes I know it's a strange name for a journal post but trust me it applies. I am a member of a Harry Potter fan fiction site known as FictionAlley. Although I have recently reduced the time which I spend there I used to post on the forums multiple times a day. At some point I cannot for the life of me remember when, I began to talk to a girl who eventually became a very good friend. She and I would swap e-mail and instant messages back and forth until about a year into knowing her she completely disappear. I tried to contact her several times using our usual methods to no avail, her keyboard remained silent despite my best attempts. Eventually I quite literally gave her up for dead. Last night I noticed that one of the screen names on my buddy list showed up as being online and because it had something to do with Harry Potter something in the back of my brain clicked I decided to ask if she was the friend I had known several years ago. Turns out she is perfectly fine and has been for years!
