Public entry ANOTHER christmas wondering whether I'll have a job
September 09, 2009 @ 08:36:19 am
Another corporate change. Another Xmas where I'll be on tender-hooks wondering whether I'll have my own job Jan 1.

I shouldn't complain I guess. There are so many people wondering day to day whether they will have their job tomorrow worldwide. But our company have pulled this s*** since 2004. Every Christmas since 2004 we've either had to re-interview for our jobs or wait to be told.

I wanted to post something about different genres of music and things
I've noticed. No offense to music fans is intended. Honest.

Just thinking out loud for DB day.

Public entry TFS beautification

Yippee! I'm loving the new smaller font for posters.

I'm sure there is other stuff I've missed.

My NEW new changes to TFS thread was merged despite begging. I can't face the new layout link it's too long. Too long to read and wade through. (whilst of course I perfectly understand why threads are merged lol)

What are your thoughts?

Public entry Morrissey
September 02, 2009 @ 11:51:56 am
This guy is STILL a god to me. I loved his music when I was skinny and poor listening to his tape on my walkman walking to uni lectures, and I still love him & his music just as much now.

I feel so sad for people who missed the real Smiths and Morrissey years. I enjoy and adore so much music, but Morrissey is forever, the ultimate to me.

Public entry Happy First day of Spring....

in Australia anyway (in 5 hours).

Yippee! Winter sucked the big one in Sydney this year. No more coats and tracks pants and no more coughing spluttering people sick with flu. Life is good

Public entry Walking pneumonia

No, I hadn't heard of it either, but I have it.
I thought I felt like crap!!
Usually common in kids and young adults. Doesn't usually require hospitalisation.
The x-rays look gruesome. No ciggerettes for a while which is a serious bummer.
