Christmas is coming up. That means Christmas, or winter to some people, break is coming too. But there is one thing i dislike. In my school district, we don't get off until Christmas Eve. I would rather get off a week before. Does anyone agree?  | |

| now that it is labor day, i am a bit frustrated. summers have been cut short because of ice storms, teacher work days, etc. I want a longer summer. it used to start in may and end after labor day. not anymore. Phineas and Ferb on the theme song say 104 days of summer vacation. the majority of america now has 84 days. we've been ripped-off 20 days of our well deserved vacation from school. Any thoughts? | |

We had a garage sale recently at my house. We found some old cat toys that we didn't use anymore so we out them in a box. My cat seem to be attracted to the massive amount of catnip and one box and climbed in there. I guess she was buried in the toys because when i got the box, i didn't see her. I shut the box and taped it shut. I put it in the garage. A person looked at it with interest. He bought it and noticed it was heavy. I knew that a few cat toys wouldn't weigh about 10 pounds. I opened the box, and there was my cat. I almost sold my cat. That was close!  | |
