|Forgiveness along the way|
MATTIS HITCHED & WENT TO JAIL TWICE, FORGIVEN BY THE US MILITARY & BECAME A GENERAL
MADDOG & CALL SIGN CHAOS
How he changed his perception of all things to a positive learning experience, aided by those around him who saw the bigger picture.
This says so much...Thank you for sharing your story. It helps more than you know.
Last night I went to bed early but didn't go right to sleep. I prayed & asked for clarity in this journey & put faith into the steps to take from here. The very first thing I read this morning was this story shared by one of the most inspiring men I've ever seen. His stories are always so touching & you really wouldn't expect them to be coming from the life experiences of a US Military General with the nickname "Maddog!" When we really peer deeply inside of a person's heart, we find that light that gives life meaning. We are all so blessed to have this man as a part of our journey. He learned from others, now we learn from him & others. Now we learn & walk united along the journey we call life. The destination is the journey. Thank you for the inspiration, lessons & tough love that's needed by all of us who are making this pilgrimage together.
The Gamecocks are playing Charleston today at 12:00. This seems a bit odd after the storm D'Orion brought Columbia & Charleston together in aiding all those who are still in need of help. I'm not going to THIS game but I know the Gamecocks play Georgia next Saturday & I am planning to be there for it.
I also realize & have prepared to go to Columbia for 9/11. There are so many gatherings for this day of remembering the victims in the WTC. I've prayed for the clarity of the next steps to take & as I am guided, I will keep you informed. Love & Light...
