Hey all!! I had a Tumblr account where I was trying to consolidate Facebook and YouTube vids I posted all in one place. Facebook then seemed to DROP their embedding so of course, half of my vids stopped working. I've since started a Blogger page to try to do the same. So far so good.... I hope everyone in the USA is staying warm in this cold snap. What are temps looking like where you are?? The forecast for me is a high of 15 today..... We normally don't even see that as a LOW where I am!!

Remember AOL? How bout Ask Jeeves? (now ask.com) Lycos? Mapquest? Winamp? (although it's not a website, it was a staple of the time)
I was reading how Winamp was going to be done in 2013 but a deal was made to keep it alive. It WAS owned by AOL but they are selling it off. My brother and I recently started chatting on AIM for nostalgic fun so I have been spending some time on their website. In AOL mail I saw a link to "mapquest" something. People still use the term now, but everyone actually GOES to google maps to get directions. This link took me to mapquest.... Also owned by AOL now. I jokingly sent my brother an email about this and said man, did AOL just buy up the internet of the 90s as it was going out of style? Do you think there will be a resurgence in any of these services??
