My coworker’s daughter is 23 and this is her 15th pregnancy and has yet to produce a child. We’ve heard it all:
I was raped, I got married yesterday and now I’m pregnant, I was raped again, I was drugged and don’t know who the dad is, etc. etc.
Well, now she’s up to her 15th pregnancy and her mom still believes her. In fact, her mom threw her a baby shower last weekend.
She’s a BIG girl so I really don’t think you’d be able to tell if she was pregnant or not, but a coworker who attended the shower said she doesn’t look pregnant. Now, could she maybe be for real pregnant this time? MAYBE.
But follow me on this and why me and several others don’t believe it for a second:
She told us after the umpty-umpth pregnancy that a doctor told her she’d never have kids.
Her mom hasn’t ever been to a doctors appointment and has only seen one ultrasound photo.
When she got pregnant this time, she asked a near perfect stranger (a coworker of mine) to be the baby’s Godmother. ….why?
She had 1 ultrasound pic this entire time, it was supposedly 11 weeks along but the picture was clearly a baby in the 3rd trimester and apparently she knew at 11 weeks it was a girl.
Then, just last week, apparently now she’s having twins.
This week, the twins have different fathers AND DIFFERENT DUE DATES. .
This week, she’s announced that she’s marrying one of the twins’ father because he’s dying and that would mean she could collect his social security money.
At the shower, she was telling everyone that she’s been 5cm dilated for over a week, but apparently she’s not even due until September 19th.
Yesterday, it was announced she’s going in for her scheduled C-Section September 9th at 9am on the dot. 10 days before her supposed due date.
NONE of this makes sense to me. ZERO. Um, I’m due only 6 days after her due date and if I was even effaced at this point, I’d be in the hospital. And I’m only having ONE baby! I’m calling bulls*** on the 5cm dilated for a week thing.
Frankly, I won’t believe any of it until I see her with a baby. This entire thing is fabricated and her mom still believes every word of it. And maybe she’s having one baby, but God strike me down now if she’s having twins by different dads.
The only reason I think this pregnancy might possibly be real is the fact it’s gone on for so long. Usually she “tragically miscarries” around between 14 and 2 weeks.
I mean, at this point, how is she gonna get out of this?!
So it’ll be fun to see how this unfolds…

I know that twins can have different fathers. Much like 7 kittens in a litter can all be from different Toms. Although with humans that would have to be really, really close together. But two different due dates? Really? |

Her mom works with me, she comes in a lot to tell everyone about the newest bulls*** story. It's kinda hard to avoid her. And then you have her mom who talks about it constantly.

Spotlight? There's no spotlight lol. When I have an actual infant and she doesn't then yeah, I might have more attention. But if anything, the attention I get from being the only pregnant person at work and the youngest is negative and I can only imagine it'll be even more negative once I have her... |

It should actually get better, assuming that you're not a white trash mommy. Somehow young pregnant girls draw more negativity than young mommies out with their kids.
Until the kid throws a tantrum in public. Then the negativity comes back ten-fold, but otherwise it should begin to dwindle. |

My friend's mother had a double uterus. She had two fetuses that were actually a few months apart. One died before the other was born though.
I would imagine that, for the sake of not having to explain, one might call them twins but they obviously are not. |
