As with the IL2 thousands of T34 tanks were built east of the Ural mountains. So many were produced that it became the most numerous of any nation's tank in that war!
Because of it's innovative sloping armor,the T34 was able to deflect artillery rounds fired at it from the German tanks. Add to that it's large 80 mm caliber cannon it was able to fight toe to toe with the German tanks including the Tiger tank,the best tank in the German arsenal.
Many experts proclaim the T34 the best tank in WWII!
