No matter what you think of me, I refuse to go away.
Raw emotion flowing from the tip of my pen like fire...
I might be exhausted, but my ink will never tire.
From the inside they cut me up,
all these forces try to shut me up.
I'm in the cross-hairs
of all these hating glares
and all these blank stares.
Back and forth I keep pacing,
my thoughts and heart keep racing.
You can't just go erasing
what it is we're facing.
It's not like we haven't seen it before,
but now it will only happen more
'cause they choose leaders who say it's okay,
what the f*** else do I have to say?
So no, I won't just get over it and suck it up...
It wasn't my idea to go and f*** it up.
The world is bigger than you,
best get used to that view.
There's a hell of a lot of us who've found our voice...
Backing down now, just isn't a choice.
Stand together, ever tighter
our flames united, burning brighter.
