Seriously I do not understand this.
My mate has been receiving threats that someone is going to kill his dog today at 12pm. He rang the police, but they said they can't/won't do anything until something actually happens.
They have a time, an address, and a threat. What's to stop them sending someone out to just check out the situation?? So instead, we have to sit and wait there just in case, and I bet any money, if something happens WE will get in trouble. What do these useless pricks expect us to do when they won't do a gosh darn thing to ensure safety?? | |

| Did you try calling your animal control people? All I can suggest is that you take the dog with you, put it in a kennel or stay home. Sorry dude, that sucks. And it's stupid.  |

| I know whear you are coming from my mom called the police when we lived in cleveland ohio usa for a man that was stalking her. The police said to her well thier is nothing we can do about it so my mom had to go to a motel room. I do not like the police at times.  |

And it's a LONG story as to why he's threatened to do this, and no real point in going into it now.
Yeah, I really wasn't going to ask why.
But if I were you, I wouldn't leave anything else unattended, just in case the dog threat is a decoy and they intend to damage something else at a different location. Depends I guess on whether the threat is against the dog or your mate. Still sucks. Good luck to him? I think not. Good luck to the dog and your mate.  |
