I've been in a depressive slump the last several months

That's one reason I haven't been on much.

Almost every day I'd get so depressed my whole body would just ache and feel 10 times heavier.

I was constantly dwelling on what people have said to me or I've done wrong in the past. The more I thought about it, the more I just wanted to slit my wrist.

I started seeing a therapist that I can actually connect with. Turns out I don't have bipolar, just bad depression and anxiety. I'm learning new coping skills and I'm on a med that helps a little more. Even though things still aren't perfect, it's going a lot better.

What's even better, this therapist is haawwwt!

And who knew that meditating could help anxiety?! I was genuinely surprised.

I'd heard that but I would think anxious people wouldn't have the patience for meditation. Maybe it's just me...I'm not anxious but I have a short attention span.

I'm so glad you're getting the right kind of help. Being able to connect with your therapist is a very good start.

You see the trick is to take all those thoughts flooding your mind, and put them aside until after you relax and free your mind and body. Because no problem is solved when you're going crazy. Lol
