She'll censor me, because her wise old grandfather, who became wealthy after moving here from China and working hard his whole life told her to.
And I'm pretty sure that by "working hard" she means, opening a shop and gouging everyone who wasn't just like him, or her.
She's quite selfish and extremely intolerant, and her very creepy "friend" with all the bikini pix isn't any better. |

Which was apparently a lie as Adam did not die.
The dying part comes from god not allowing Adam to eat from the tree of life:
"And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."
Time again to censor me....
Why would god say "The man has now become like one of us"? Isn't he supposed to be a singular entity? Or could this just be a typo from when the concept was stolen from earlier polytheistic societies? |

I'm assuming that it's not a type. I'm sure that I've still got a bible on the bookshelf along with the other fiction, but I can't be bothered to dust it off and read it again.

I completely agree. If you're secure in your beliefs, you should be able to debate them with ease. If you're insecure you've got no choice but to try and silence anyone who doesn't agree. |

It's sad, because I know exactly the type of adult she's going to grow up to be, and it really isn't pretty. She's going to think that she's better than everyone, and everyone she deals with in real life is going to be pleasant to her face and absolutely despise her behind her back. She will have no real friends outside of her family, and the only people that will tolerate her for more than a few minutes at a time are going to be people that are being paid to do it.
I'm betting that she'll have pretty severe frown lines on the corners of her mouth by the time she hits 40. |

And to answer the question:
The most common way those verses are perceived is that the Alpha was using the Omega as a surrogate. There was no 'son of' Jesus's body was just an empty vessel for God to interact through.
Like the film "Avatar"........

You poor little thing. I guess you got butthurt by my response to you in the other thread, so you've been hunting for something to "attack"? Unfortunately, you forgot to check the dates.
I haven't posted here in nearly a year, because this "poor little girl" deletes anything she disagrees with, and the only reason my posts aren't deleted is most probably because she's got me blocked.
But, I hope you feel better now. I'll remember in future how thin skinned you are, and be sure to agree with all your insipid little comments. |

It pisses me off because things like this will be the reason that TFS dies. There have always been a few people that don't interact here, but those people have been crazy like 77100 (or whatever her username is), or that dude who only comes here and posts jokes, who is still entertaining. To have 2 people come here and have a "conversation" that excludes everyone else is offputting to the rest of our group, especially new comers who once ignored will be far less likely to return.
They're a cancer, and as such they'll be part of what kills this site. |

| For the last school year I have studied United States History in an APUSH history course. AP courses normally have a summer assignment. For my assignment, I had to look for Evangelical Atheists, not just people who did not believe in God, but people who actively promote the atheist point of view.
I expected a difficult time because I mistakenly believed that the "A" in atheist means "no interest in religion." However, to my surprise, some atheists have a passion for their non religion. |
