okay, so I will just do highlights of everyone I saw .
Chimaira- was awesome, shook hands after and got autographs, they had a kickass performance, and are definately worth a checkout.
Hatebreed- Great perfomance also, got autographs before the show and they played I will be heard
Five finger death punch- absolutely f***ing amazing, performed their Bad company cover (bad company), and had us crowd surf people up to the stage so the singer could shake hands with them, I ended up getting some womans a** thrown/surfed at me when I wasnt paying much attention, so yes, I took an a** to the back of the head the lead singer also gave a kid his wristband, he threw it down into the crowd and they passed it to him, and said he had a father of the year for taking him to the show.
Lamb of god- I have seen them before, and yet again they have not dissapointed me, although I am not allowed to go into a circle pit, I kinda got a little stomped on
A7x: was absolutely amazing, they opened with nightmare, and had the drummer from dreamtheatre with them.
Rob Zombie: played thunder kiss '65, Dragula, Living dead girl, More human than human, and superbeast, including two new songs and a cover of schools out. For an old burning out rockstar he can still throw a hell of a show, here is hoping he doesnt call it quits soon.
Korn: sounds the same live, they performed Twist, I did my time, somebody someone, blind, falling away, and freak on a leash
It was an amazing night and if anybody is looking to go to the american mayhem festival you will not be disappointed in my opinion. |
