not that bad though..though it scared the hell out of me.
It felt like standing by the train tracks as it goes by or like my washing mashine was on crack while it was off balance , I mean I dont think it was even that noticible on the scale, but, it opened my dresser drawers moved the soap off of my dryer and lasted about 3 minutes...
I can imagine it still must have been scary tho we only have little tremors ours are not hardly noticable..the last one just shook the handels on my drawers
well I guess this was a 5.0 and it hit Kingston all the way to the small town I am in 3 hours away, I guess in kingston there are also hurricane like winds, but I havent herd of any homes hurtin yet. just sattelite signals being inturrupted...
Yeah it woke me up and knocked stuff off my shelves. I guess it was an interesting experience but I wouldn't like to live in an active earthquake area.

I felt the earthquake here too. I'm 45min south of Ottawa. My sister-in-law in Ottawa felt it too and was freaked out.
At first, I thought it was the washing going unbalanced in the apartment upstairs or a big vehicle out on the street(there is a lot of city construction near my house the past few weeks)
My sister calls me a few minutes after the quake to see if I felt it. She live 30mins out of town.
The last earthquake I can remember(that was very noticeable that is) in this area was 24yr ago.
