The begining of the week it was sunny and about 50 something degrees.

Wednesday it started raining, the temp was in the 40's.

Yesterday the weather was just weird. Clear and dry in the morning, followed by rain on and off and some hail showers, too.

Then last night I was laying in bed at about 10pm. Got up to let the cat in before I went to sleep.

I got closer to the front door and I could hear Misery meowing, meow after meow after meow. Almost a paniced meow.

I opened the front door and it was snowing hard!

It's March! Spring starts in 15 days and it's snowing! (those were the thoughts running through my head)... the next thought was "Good thing I still have studded tires on!"

Of course, the cat was happy to come inside. She had a thin layer of snow on her and was pretty wet, so I grabbed a towel and dried her off, went back to bed and she climbed under the blankets with me.

Told my fiance once I got back to the bedroom that it was snowing and of course he didn't believe me! He had to go see for himself.

Normally we might get one snow storm in Pendleton during the winter, and it will happen in late December or early January. NEVER have I seen it snow this late in the year here!! I couldn't believe it!

When I woke up this morning, I had to get the snow off the car... I have had to do that so many times this winter, I can't wait for summer! I'm tired of the snow and cold and ice and all that crap.

I love it for a little bit, really loved it as a kid, but it's not much fun anymore.

The roads were really slick when I went to work this morning, everything was frozen. Now at 1:20pm, everything that the sun has touched is almost completely dry. There's a couple puddles and snow and ice in the shade, but everything else is dried off.

I am so happy to see this winter end!
