| I dont know if I over did it Thursday morning at the gym or if its because I'm sick... But my upper body muscles are killing me... I didnt even work out my stomach or back, but both hurt. I cant fully extend my arms or my back. I could barely take a shower and put on deodorant. Ive also got a fever. My bro scared me saying it could be because my hand is infected, but it doesnt look infected. I tried to call into work and my boss basically told me to f*** off and he would see me at 11pm... so here I am, and I cant even do anything other than my computer work... When I try to lift my arms or extend anything, it feels like my muscles/skin is ripping... It sucks. | |

So things got better between my girlfriend and I for a couple days... Then Friday night she txted me about 10:45pm and said she wouldnt be able to talk much tonight because her kid was missing (he went to a party across town) so I got like one txt between 10:45pm and 1:30am... Then at 4am she said "He's coming home at 9am, been a LONG night, I'm going to bed" I gave her the benefit of the doubt because honestly nothing seemed that weird.
9:18am saturday morning
me - He make it home yet?
10:15am (when she has to be at work at 11:00am
her - he's on his way home now.
I didnt say anything, but if it were my kid, I would have been up at 9:18am if my kid said he was going to be home at 9am... Especially if he didnt show up at 9am.
Then Saturday night she txted me a few times between 9pm and 10:30pm when she suddenly stopped... Then she texted me at 4am again "Hey, sorry I passed out watching lifetime lol" I didnt reply this time... She didnt text me when she woke up again that morning like she usually does. I thought that was weird, but I was kind of upset things were going back to the way they were before I talked to her about it, so I didnt text her afraid I would drill her with questions and be hostile... I needed to cool off.
Then she texted me that night (Sunday) at 7:44pm
"hey babe"

me - Good God its cold outside, just got back from running, gonna jump in the shower, whats up?
her - Chillin at a superbowl party with some Willie's (where she works) peeps. Its cold and windy here too
me - Thats cool, who won? or they still playing?
Her - The Patriots (which I just found out, the Giants won)
me - Thats cool, was it a good game? You get your new phone? (because her phone has been acting up) Where's Kurt? (her 16yr old son that has school in the morning)
her - I didnt really pay attention to the game lol. and no, I'm doing it tomorrow. Kurt is at home asleep.
me - lol what else is there to do at a superbowl party other than watch the game? thats cool, guess your phone is gonna die soon  call me when you get home.
Her - ummm, drink and eat food? lol. Okay, I will 
me - You drink and eat food while you watch the game silly :p

Its now 6:04am and she never called me when she got home. Obviously she wasnt even at a superbowl party or she would at least know who won the f***ing game... So I'm not breaking up with her because I think she is cheating on me... I'm breaking up with her because she has been caught in a lie, she is hanging out with dude's and her excuse as to why she cant call/txt the guy she says she wants to marry "because I have a life now, and its rude to my friends to be txting you all the time."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you had someone you wanted to marry, wouldnt you pick talking to them over hanging out at bars with friends you met just a couple months prior? | |

So this is probably going to be all over the place... Where to start... MY gf. I love her and want things to work, but I get a feeling like its not. She lives in Houston, I live in Oklahoma... I go to see her when I can, but its not a lot. I live like a college student so I can save the money to go down there as much as possible. She makes more money than me, but always spends it on going out or shopping or whatever and never makes an attempt to come here. This kind of pisses me off, but whatever... Used to be she would txt/call me all the time and the past couple months, I'm lucky to even talk to her every day. Deep down I trust her and know she wouldnt do anything like cheat, but I still cant get the thoughts out of my head. I think its mostly because if she isnt going to put fourth half the effort I do into us seeing eachother, maybe its because she just doesnt care.
I'm also having the worst luck with cars this past year. First my truck was hit by a drunk, and still havent seen a dime out of it. Its still sitting in my garage all crumpled up. I cant fix it incase an insurance adjuster ever does come look at it, and I cant get rid of it for the same reason. So I got another car (1988 cougar) and that turned out to be a lost cause... So thanks to my lovely friends I got another car (1995 240sx) which has been a good little car so far... Until the other night when someone hit it while it was parked. Now the trunk wont open, the tail light busted and rear bumper smashed in, and there is a crack in the gas tank (I think the crack might have been at the top due to the fact you can smell fuel in the car and there are no leaks, but now there is a crack all the way down the side and it wont hold more than 2 gallons or so)... Luckily, thanks to another one of my awesome friends, I'm taking it today to his bodyshop to be fixed for free... Which is nice. But I'll be out of a car for at least a week.
In the past 6 months I've developed a possible health issue... I dont know if I'd call them anxiety attacks... But I've been getting 2 kinds. The first, my stomach will start hurting like I've been stabbed and it will go on for an hour or so... Usually hurting to the point it makes me throw up. And the 2cd is where I will lose my breath and struggle to breathe, my legs will shake uncontrollably, I get dizzy and confused, and pretty much feel like I'm about to die... Happened the other day when I was driving... Luckily I was on the highway so I set the cruise control because my foot was bouncing on and off the throttle... These episodes usually go on for 5-15 minutes. IDK whats wrong with me... Everyone keeps saying I need to see a doctor. But even if I had the money to see a doc, I'm not quite sure I want to know whats wrong with me. The first one, with the stomach pains happens at least once a week... The other happens about once to twice a month...
IDK man... You ever get the feeling that you just cant win? | |

Im ready for thanksgiving to be over...Every year since I can remember (11 or 12) thanksgiving week has been a bad week for me....So far this week I called animal control at work on this kitten someone dumped off that was getting mauled by a street cat. They said someone was going to pick it up. It looked like an adoptable cat, but last time I touched a stray I got scabies...So I came back into work last night and saw the cat behind the building...dead. That pissed me off, because it would still be alive if those a*****e woulda came and got it...
Then today I found out from the mechanic, the cougar ive spent so much time and money on has a bad trans, bad wiring harness (after we redid about half of it) and low compression on 2 cylinders. My friend has been saying for 2 weeks that if the cougar turns out to be a money pit (which it is) we will rebuild the head in his honda (engine freshly rebuilt with forged pistons then overheated and warped the head) since he drives his camry most everywhere and I'd get his honda. Now he is saying that he doesnt want to give up his honda and he will just trade me my wrecked truck +the $1200 aprox I have tied up in the cougar for his camry which is basically just an old turd with 150k+ miles, and needs new brakes, struts, shocks, and has a rusted exhaust...
Then I have some of my friends inviting me to their family thanksgiving because they feel bad for me since I dont talk to my family...But Id rather just go to work, go home get wasted, wake up and go back to work until the first of december. Not b****ing because they're inviting me, just dont feel like going because they're only asking me out of pity. /rant | |

Damnit...This is the first time Ive been bummed out to be off work tonight...I was just assigning rooms, and someone from Roush is staying tonight...Probably going to be driving a rental anyways...Never know...We had a nascar team come through a couple years ago...They took the car out of the trailer and showed it off before giving a ride to the van driver at the time. He said it was just around the backroads behind the hotel and didnt go fast...But still... I was off that day too...I miss all the cool s*** and get stuck with all the freaks.

Her - I need you to make me a reservation online. My husband is handicapped, but dont you dare say that to him. He was born in the 1930's and they are do it on your own about things.
Me - I can make you a reservation.
her - I need you to make it online, my husband usually does it. Hes done it for 20 yrs, but now I need to make it and I dont know how. He does everything online.
Me - I can make your reservation in my system, but I cant go to the website and make it. It is actually better for me to make it in the system.
Her - But he does it online and I dont know how so I need you to make it online.
Me - When are you coming in (doing it in my system)
Her - Tonight. Do you have a suite? Price is no matter. Dont put us in a handicapped room because he will refuse it.
Me - Yeah, we got suites. Tonight as in Sunday or Monday night?
Her - Tonight, as in right now.
Me - Ok, when are you departing?
Her - We are going to be here for a week.
Me - Ok, what day are you leaving?
Her - um, we already left, we are about 30 minutes from you now.
Me - Ok, what day are you checking out of my hotel?
Her - ummm, Friday I think.
(I get all of her info)
Me - Are you going to be holding this with a creditcard?
Her - No, we do it strait through our account.
Me - Well I need a card number or cash.
Her - We dont have a card because people steal stuff. So I can give you a check number.
Me - No, I need a credit card, debit card, or cash.
Her - Well lets do cash....Because the cash comes from the bank.
Me - ummm, You have to bring the cash, the cash cant come from the bank.
Her - The bank isnt open, we have an account number so it gets directly taken out.
Me - No, we cant do that. You have to bring either a credit card, debit card, or cash...as in $100 bills in your hand.
Her - I know what that means! IM NOT A ILLITERATE! I can give you our account number, a security code and a statement with our balance.
Me - Im not trying to call you stupid, but unless you come in with a visa, mastercard, or any major credit card OOOOR American currency, I can not check you in.
Her - OH MY GOD! NEVERMIND JUST NEVERMIND Cant believe this *click*

I came in (last night now) just thinking it was going to be a terrible night. But it has been the funniest night in a long time. First, this newly wed couple pulls up in a limo. The bride looked 15 and was wearing a shiny black and red dress that still showed her pale, bruised up legs. The groom looked 35 and was wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt. He looked like he wasnt all there. They were bragging about how they are going to Mexico for their honeymoon. Then they were upset that we didnt upgrade them to a suite since their daddy is a VIP diamond member. Just the way she acted, so quick to throw her daddy's name out there...I couldnt help but think how awesome it would be if she got caught up in the drug war down there  
Then about 2:30am this lady called down and said she was sick. Said she had gotten sick and messed the bed. She asked if there was anyone that could come change the sheets.
I was like "uhhhh, I can change your room... I'm not cleaning up vomit sheets heh, and Im the only one here. But I dont want you to have to sleep in them and smell them all night either."
Then she said "Its not vomit. I got diarrhea in my sleep and my husband woke me up like what the hell are you doing? I cleanedup the bathtub but I cant clean the sheets, it even got on the comforter." I couldnt hit the mute button fast enough I busted up laughing.
Then this guy just came down to check out with like 5 plants...big plants. He was so pissed about something, and its just too hard to take a guy seriously when he is draped in vegitation.

So I just looked in my box and there is a write up with my name on it and they want me to sign it. The reason was attached.
A guest that checked in on the 15th described me (not easy to confuse me since there are only 2 white males that work here) Said that when they checked in I treated them like a second class citizen because they had a government rate. Said that they needed batteries for their remote and I said we dont have any. Then they said they wanted to switch rooms because their carpet was soaking wet and smelled like chemicals (the carpets got shampood that day) ...Then i said we dont have any rooms to switch them to.
So I wrote a note to my boss telling her that I'm not signing her write up. Just like her, I attached a reason. I copied the schedule, and highlighted my off days. Now my only problem is, someone is trying to f*** with me...Luckily, they put an address on their profile...and that address is in Oklahoma City. So I'm going to check it out after I get out of work.

There is a drift event in Stroud Oklahoma tomorrow. Free for spectators...so if you dont have anything to do, go check it out...I might take my ranger out there to check out the cars and kill some time. If you do go and you see my truck, come say hi. Bring your helmet if you have one because they are suposedly allowing ride alongs.

Well tonight has been a f***ing nightmare. Went to check a guy in, and someone was in his room...BECAUSE the dayshift gave someone a key to the room and didnt check them in in the computer. So think of the s*** storm that stirred up having a stranger walk in your room at midnight, you'd be rightfully pissed. Then someone didnt drop their money, so there was $300 extra sitting in the drawer, they are lucky im honest, or they would be out of a job and Id have a new billet grille for my truck. Then a lady came to check out of 213, but she was in 124 in my computer. Im lucky I didnt try to check someone in 213 last night...its just been ridiculous all night. They blame our satisfaction scores on our old building, but them not doing their jobs has nothing to do with the building.
So I gave everyone that works the dayshift a courtesy call (including the GM and AGM) telling them that from now on, everytime I have to hear about something they did wrong from a guest, to expect a call from me, telling them about it...Maybe they will do their f***ing jobs right. | |
