It sort of looks like an elbow (a tattoo'ed one) and torso...like someone was in the middle of swinging an upper cut or something.

Apparently he slowed the shutter speed and twisted the camera while taking the picture of the bison skull we use for lodge ceremony. That is sage, cedar, & sweet grass in the nose, the horns are making the half circle.
