So my first year of university was a success! I had a few classes that I struggled with but I ended up getting nothing below a B- and the majority of my grades were in the A range. I'm extremely excited. The differences between High School and college were huge but I love college so much more than I did HS. I feel so much prouder of my accomplishments here in college because it took so much more work for me to achieve my goals.
Next week I start my summer courses which will make me one step closer to my degree.

Alright, my boyfriend of five months broke up with me about a month ago. It was a mutual thing but we are now like really really close friends. The reason for the breakup is a long story. If anyone really is interested in knowing you can message me but anyways... so I was at the library (where I work) tonight and my ex works at the laptop desk on Wednesday nights. So I talked to him for a while and then I went over to talk to my friends from the circulation desk. I told them we should have a library alma mater so I was jokingly making a song and then someone said I should make it a rap. So to the tune of Gangsta's Paradise I was trying to make a library rap. After a few minutes my boss looks at Tony (my ex) and says "TONY!! I now understand why you broke up with Jordan!"
I'm still in shock. Just a little uncalled for really. Like, although him and I are still close friends the breakup still sucked and is still kind of painful at times.

Went out with some friends tonight. I didn't drink at all. Was with my friends and my ex who broke up with me 3 weeks ago. We're good friends now and I'm perfectly fine with that. It's just that this is pretty much the first time I've gone out with him and everyone since the breakup and I keep remembering back to every other Friday night before we broke up and how I would either go to his dorm or he would come to mine. We would watch TV, cuddle a bit, and then fall asleep.
Being in my dorm alone right now without him here is really weird to me right now. It's also making me quite lonely.
I guess I just need to stop complaining and go to bed already.

It's official, it's time for me to start taking my more specialized courses. I'm now on my path to becoming a high school math teacher. I know I'm crazy.

So today I found out that my cousin's four month old baby boy died. I never met the little guy but I'm still just in a complete state of shock and I can't even fathom how my cousin is feeling right now. I can't believe this.

A stressful one it has been just trying to adjust to the differences and getting good grades and living away from home. It's been interesting to say the least. I'm happy to say that I did get fairly good grades my first semester. High B's and A's. Made it on the Dean's List.
Needless to say, I'm just a happy camper right now.
This guy makes me nervous...
