So for a long time I've been hand feeding a squirrel I call Sweet Pea. She's awesome. A while back Sweet Pea had babies, but only recently have they come around. They are pretty much full grown, but still inexperienced in a very cute way. This morning her baby took food from me for the first time.
Met friends out at the beach last night. We sat under a Tiki hut, cold beers in hand and the beach literally at our feet. You could not ask for nor could you get a better view. Cold beers, cool breeze, the sound of waves and the smell of the ocean in the air. NIghts like that make it nearly impossible to imagine living anywhere but here.
My son came to me irate because of the way the Patriot Act has infringed on our personal liberties. YAY! We had yet another great discussion about the direction this country seems to be headed (losing our rights and liberties, government getting larger and more invasive) and what needs to happen to get it back under control. Not to brag too much, but the guy is wicked smart and a fantastic debater. I encouraged him to finish his BA in Law or Political Science, go on to do his Masters and get into politics. He

Half and hour later what do I hear streaming out of the living room? Razor. I LOVE that he can do that. He sings as well. I can have live music anytime. Kicks ass.
