yesterday, I played hooky from work for the first time ever.

what makes you take a day off?
I did it 'cause it was Trinity's first time being sick, and I wanted to take care of her myself.

I only take days off when I'm sick. If I had a kid and it was sick, I would stay home to take care of it, definately.

If I am going to take a day off for personal, I let them know in advance.

I used to skip school really often, now I don?t anywhere near as much... If there?s any kids out there who want to find an easy way to stay home from school heres a word of advice. Stick your thermometer in a lamp untill it goes up till around 38 degrees! Worked like a charm for 3 years 8)

I only miss work when I'm too sick to come in.

I would suck a lollpop, when I had a virus, and then months later, if I wantd to stay home, I would unwrap the virus pop, and wahlah sick again.

nice , to bad i just finished school. i tend to justify it as a mental health day, or basic lazyness

Heh, some people are more ingenious than me . My problem was that since 2 or 3 times a week I got a fever my parents thought I was sick and took me to the doctors every couple of times I had fevers. For some reason when he took my temperature it read normal... Oh well I never got caught and thats all that matters

Im actually self employed so I take a day off whenever I need time for other important stuff or when I'm ill or extremely lazy.

Yeah! You could sell them in different strengths, from weak (one day of) to extra strong (whole week). Its fool proof! Hurry and get the patents before someone steals it!!!

I swear, my friends and I all did it once (strep), that way we could all stay home together (our parents all worked, and they felt bad for us) I scream you scream we all scream for Icecream!

just go around the hospital finding the sickest people out there...stick a lollipop in their mouths for a few and then take it away from 'em...a virus pop for all occasions...
