what is the best laptop processor

Dear friends, thanks to all of you who are always there for people like me, who need advice and help when we most need it. I need to buy a new laptop and I could afford up to ?400, the most important for me is the processor.Is there anybody who knows what is the best processor to buy and if you could give me some additional information about the characteristics, would be great. Intel pentium is in mine, and it seems fine! My last laptop PC I had when I was 6 was a different processor, and that was fine too! So I guess its not all that important lol. My new one has 3GB RAM and a dual hard disk and that seems more important.

Mine's a Toshiba, and it's not wildly expensive. Maybe a bit more than 400 pounds, but not a lot more. It works great though!

What is your prime use of it

This girl ghatina should of bought an Apple iMac, as theres a reason that they are unique to others. Anyone rent one for a month and then you will know.

for that price range, pentium would likely be the best option.
you might be able to find a decent laptop for that price, or slightly more, with a core2 duo processor.

also for amd, you should be able to find athlon and athlon II processors, but i wouldn't recommend athlon, though athlon II should be fine.

I have an intel core 2 duo processor. Definitely try to get a double processor, it makes everything way faster! I also recommend samsung. Mine if the best computer I've ever had
