Not a massive thrash fan but Master of Puppets by Metallica and Trivium's Ascendancy are great albums

Pantera are Post-Thrash, so no, they'd fall under Traditional Metal. Trivium? They brought out one Thrash album (albeit a piss-poor one) and Ascendancy ain't it.

Best Thrash Metal EVER! Lower Numbers are Better.

Those are my overall favs.

Ascendancy may be more Metalcore, Still a bit thrashy though. I think The Crusade was an awesome Thrash album, but I have a feeling 90% of thrash fans will hate me for saying that

That album is so underrated. Gotta love Dyers Eve.
