im in sales, and our managers make really good money, but i applies to any job, i feel people dont want to make anything of themselves so much anymore.

Every job i have been in i have made something of myself. I feels its a natural progression with in me. Currently im a Assistant Business manager/Account Manager. I got here in less than 6 months because i applied myself. No arse kisging, just hit my targets and beyond.

Previous jobs i have been promoted every time. other than when i was contracting (consulting) last year.

I do no different in each job other than do the job, turn up on time.
I find alot of people today have been spoon fed too much..

no ll not what i meant, if you employ students then students don't generally worry about progressing at work due to the fact that they dnt see themselves doing it a lot.
