has this country, by this i mean the security services, and the governmenet got any real idea on how to tackle the continuation of extremist ideology being taught here in the UK?

and what if anything could you add to the argument, have you got an opinion on how young, impressionable british youngsters can be protected from these promoters of hate?

The best way, in my experience is to let the extremists have total access to free speech.

When you let people like that shout their message of hate from the rooftops, it quickly becomes clear how wrong the message is. If you try to silence them, they'll whisper, and whispers sound far more important and truthful than shouts.

I agree J.S mills theory of progress, google it or read his book "On Liberty."

Our government should also set and example for them on issues such as being tougher on Israel and more diplomatic with countrys such as Iran. When Iran is asking for our freindship and we reject it,inevitbly it will go down bad with young British Muslims.

Our government are doing this however.

A) denouncing of Israels attack on U.N. school as " inexcusable" (Would never of heard such things during the Blair years)

B) Banning of dutch MP from entering our borders.

C) Pulling out of Iraq

D) Making prince Harry take a equality course ( hahah)
I think they are on the right track and are acepting Islam as a entrenched religion in British society that should be respected. HEAR HEAR Gordan!
