um, yeah i spose some books i've read and it's effected me. To Kill A Mocking Bird for one, and Mein Kampf (im not a nazi dont worry, but i the book really intruiged me and made me feel different about the world. gave me another insight into the nazi's and society in Germany at the time. To the extent that i understand why people voted for them, and there was a good chance that i also may have voted for them). And occasionaly some other books have.

I read a book by an Australian author called Across the nightingale floor which was about a 15 year old village boy in Japan whose family got killed by a Tribe of rebel samurais and they burnt the village down the boy was the only Survivor he was found by a kind hearted Samurai and he trains him to become a a ferice fighter like his biological father. And the boy vows revange.

There are some moments in the book that made me cry becuase it was beautiflly written and the author knew much about Japanesse culture and had taken an interest in it
