ps3 or xbox 360 or wait?

seeing as how both of which have been out for, what, 2 years now? Is it even worth it to get one or the other or just wait for the next gen system?

The X box 360 is (IMO) the best gaming console out there, but the PS3 isn't so bad either. Just go for it

Im really worried about games leaving the cd format and turning to blueray.

Wouldn't xbox be irrelevant if this happens?

The PS3's been out for 4 years and the 360 for 5. From what I heard, the PS4 is planned to be developed after 2012. So you have time to enjoy a nice, shiny, PS3.

Games left the "CD Format" when the PS1 died. (a few years later if you include PC's)

No games are released on CD's now.

PS3 Are Blu-Ray.

360 Are DVD's.

PS2 Where DVD's.


Most/All Games released for PC's are released on DVD's.

While all can take CD's they are not used for games, as they don't have enough storage for "modern" games, they are usually just for playing/burning music.
