under my cat, what does it all mean? how do i keep my thoughts from dissappering?

Under your display picture is your age, gender and location. You can edit that if you go onto the tab that says your user name and then edit. As for the journals, you click on the Journal tab and then beneath it there will be another tab saying new entry. You can then write stuff in there and it is saved.
