sounds a bit weird but i like pain. i like getting hurt and i like being punched, hard. when i get angry or upset, getting hurt is the best way, i find, to calm myself down. does anyone else think this is abnormal? have any other ideas how to cool down?

yes, it does seem rather unusual in my opinion. When trying to calm down, take a step away from the situation, and take many deep breaths, making sure you breath deep into the stomach. This should help take the edge off the feeling of anger.

both mu hubby and son punches a wall and end up breaking a finger or two,where with me if some one makes me angry i punch them,no seriously either buy a punch bag on a pole or get an old pillow that you only use to beat the s*** out of.

i have to confess, i enjoy a little pain myself, but not of the variety you are speaking of. i'm referring to the pain from something like a tattoo, a piercing, or even a love bite.

i'm going to ask you a personal question...have you ever been physically abused? i don't mean sexually...i'm talking about being excessively hit or even beaten by a parent or guardian. i'm not saying this in a sarcastic way. if you say yes, then i can offer a valid opinion of why you enjoy excessive physical pain.

it really is isn't it? when i tell some people about it being a "good pain" they look at me like i'm crazy or a masochist or something. i'm glad i'm not the only one that feels this way.

i'm sorry jeanette, i should have specified...i was referring to the original poster when i asked about the abuse. i was too, that's why i was going to offer her my opinion about it.

i like mens they make me go

and shaven hair thats why i got so many bloody tatoos cos the bloke who does them is so sexy,im normally a flirt with him i can hardly talk,i keep trying to get hubby have his nipple done but he wont.ive had some pierecings but theyve all gone bad and i really looked after them.
