After 16 games in a row, their winning streak is snapped again, by the Indian outfit.

Without their top opener and making a poor team selection really came back to hurt Australia. Losing in Perth for the first time in many many years will hurt them, but it shows that if the Australians lose that mongrel instinct, they are just another team.

They'll probably still win the series though.

well they have retained the trophy that the two countries play for. The best that India can hope for is a draw in the series.

Thats provided they win the last test. A win or a draw will be enough for Australia to win the series.

When Walsh and Ambrose left the Windies, they never did recover. But like all things, in time it will be their turn again.
