i think you should stay loyal to you local team if people dont go then there will be no club to go to and as for playing better than them everybody says that but you never see them on the pitch but you see them in the pub

Yeah but im sure if they went up you would be in the terraces chanting halifax till i die.Footballs about goin trough all those hard times just for that one moment of glory. It doesnt matter who you support there is nothin better than when your team scores a goal.

Yes, exactly right, steve, so are you too, derekg.
Halifax aren`t a sunday league standard, either. They were in the Football League up to a few years ago, let`s get that straight.
People should support their nearby team, the team that truly is your team.
It`s a great joke, but also a great (and sad) truth that most of the fans that attend Manchester United matches don`t actually even live in Manchester. All those that come from around the country to get into the mighty Old Trafford to watch them are paying scant regard to the club "down the road", and derelicting them.
Don`t give me that about "atmosphere", either. If that little ground near you was packed, you`d feel "atmosphere" all right!
There`s a lot more to football than the Big clubs.

Tont.
