need help

can anyone make clothes?

i make clothes by hand well mainly modding them up anyway, i really want to start making clothes i cant find a clothes making course that is not full until december but i want to start making now as i am very impatient!

anyway im planning on buying my sewing machine or ordering it in the next few day just wanted toknow if anyone could recommend a machine or what i need to look out for. I am planning on using all types of materials and of all thicknesses!

I personally like Brother machines at least that's what i have as for working with different materials you may need a few different presser feet and definately different needles not all needles are the same you need a stronger one for denim than for silk or cotton and threads are different too. home that helps alittle.
