my fridge is broken

i was just wondering what it meant when ur food freezing the bottom of the fridge when u have it set on 2.
i unthawed the fridge yesterday the maintnance guy came over and took outside to unthaw and he said it worked but once he plugged it back in it started frosting up again he said it wasnt supposed to do that and its doing it in the fridge too i can see white ice inside the fridge like on the back of the fridge.

Your temp control is prob messed up. The switch may have snapped on the inside. But at least it is cold rather than not working at all

i dont know.
they said if it still is not working right they will have to replace it cuz it is a really old fridge.

the real old ones always got frost buildup in the freezer.
not sure about the non freezer part.

lotsa humidity?
bad seal on door?

yes it works its just dripping water into the fridge from the freezer and then the fridge is freezing the food like a freezer.

You could also have a leak in the seal making the compressor run all the time. Check the seal first, then the temp controller. Check for any dust buildup around the compressor / cooling lines as well.
