limewire

so i had limewire, and it quit working. i didnt really do much with it for a while. than last night, i uninstalled it, and then redownloaded it. i downloaded like 3 cds last night, and now its not downloading again. i dont know if anyone has or uses limewire, but i was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

exit and then restart the program sometimes does the trick. otherwise, try buying the cd's off itunes!

Yeah, most people are torrenting things nowadays. The things I hate about limewire are

a) people don't know who sings what and title it wrong
b) they don't know the correct song title
c) too many seeds for the popular downloads, and never enough for the lesser known songs.

Hence, getting it straight off of the net might be a bit better.

or streight from the net via rapidshare or megaupload

Yea Limewire is being stupid right now. No matter what I do it won't let me download anything! Then I tried Morpheus and it won't let me download anything either. Now I'm using bearshare but the thing with that is that it doen't always have the songs I want.

what are you after?

Try uninstalling then reinstalling limewire. If that doesn't work, then consider getting Azureus or Bittorrenr etc

Switch to Frostwire, I have not had any problems with it

i rarely have problems with limewire pro.
which is why im not going to change to a torrent.
limewire is a lot simpler to use IMO.

I just use uTorrent, and Azereus. I like em better.

I rarely have any problems with Limwire but I do use Utorrent if I'm going to download a whole album or movie.

Yeah, uTorrent is good for finding software and DVDs and games.

i don't even bother trying to download movies, or large files.

(b)so is my harddrive space.

but it'll soon change when i get my new computer
