is speeking in 1337 considered spamming?

Is it at least against TFS rules? I wanna know if it is so I dont start doing it on threads and get banned. If it aint then I will use it when I'm bored.

Someone that got banned yesterday told me that he got banned for spamming and told me its because he used 1337

Please try to keep it to the thread that was started for it, or in your journal. Posting it in other threads where people don't understand it would probably not be a good idea, and many people would consider it to be spam.

Yea i started a 1337 thread lol. I'm not asking you to tell me why u banned him, but he told me that its because he use 1337. So that made me worry about using it on threads and getting banned to.

It may have been. I don't know the circumstances...I wasn't on, and I didn't ban him. BUT, it very well could have been related.

Perhaps if you post a guide so that people understand what's being said it wouldn't be looked on so negatively. To me, it just looks like numbers and symbols, and I would likely classify it as spam and delete the posts

But it still wouldn't be a bad idea to try to keep it in one thread instead of using it all over. I hope that makes sense because I don't feel like I'm saying this well
