It's perfectly fine. I've had girlfriends get upset when my girl friends (note the difference) hug me, or even speak to me. My response: Sorry, they were here first. How a girlfriend feels about my girl friends is a deal breaker.

I'm a hugger myself and if I had to deal with a girl who became jealous whenever I gave another girl a hug,her a** would be whooped.

(I would never hit a girl but it just sounds cool.)

It depends on the hug. If it is a quick friendly hug upon entering or exiting a room that is perfectly acceptable. If it's a body feeling

hug then it is not proper.
