Well dogs and cats don't like the sound of it. And it is a VERY annoying sound, though my new one isn't as bad as the older ones.

Rammstein gives me a headache. Something about their music (and you know I like metal)
My point is that there are sounds that will effect people differently.

My animals are frightened of the hoover but that's only because they see it rarely and haven't got used to it yet.

The sound of my fella's best mate's voice is enough to piss me right off....

I had to put mine together and the cats were trying to help..ie: sniffing all the parts and trying to play with them

I have a coworker with a voice that annoys me. And he talks constantly. I put my headphones and jam out.

I once had a cat who enjoyed being hoovered. If I was doing the skirting boards with the tube attachment she used to lie in front of it until I gave in.

And how did you find out she liked it in the first place? I can picture you running around the house attacking her

The first time it happened I hoovered her to try and get her to move, thinking it might give her a fright so that I could get on. She just lay there and let me do it. Why do I always get the unhinged ones?
