No but I really want to get the Evo.

My friend calls it the iPad-mini with a phone app

I have the 3GS and with the iOS 4 Software Update , I won't need to upgrade for a while. I'm still on a contract anyway.

Here's Engadget's review of it and I have to say I really really wanted to have one.

My iPhone 3G is starting to feel a bit old.

From that review:

"We can't overstate how high-end the design of the iPhone 4 is. The 3GS now feels cheap and chubby by comparison, and even a phone like the HTC Droid Incredible -- which just came out -- seems last-generation."

Haha! My home screen looks exactly like the iPhone 4's with the iOS 4 update. I prefer the shape of my 3GS.

I forgot what you said you were interested in last time. I'm not overly impressed with the Droid Incredible either, but if all the bugs are worked out, it's probably a really good phone.

Motorola's going to come out with a 2Ghz Android phone by the end of this year. I wouldn't buy an iPhone.

I still don't have cell phone period, so I'm not in any rush to get this one.

I haven't heard. Do you know which carrier's said to be getting it? I've always liked Motorola's phones. I'd probably still have the Droid if I hadn't had so much trouble with them.

You need to post a long and drawn out response, then.

I would be more excited about it if they didn't put that "motoblur" bulls*** on all their Android phones now. I don't know if they said what carrier it would be on.

But Android is evolving faster than iPhone I think. So the end result is that for the majority of the year between iPhone hardware upgrades, iPhone is behind the curve behind all the Android phones coming out every few months with new features. Then once a year, iPhone plays catch up and adds something new that no one else has, and everyone else catches up to Apple within a few months, and then bypasses them again. And so it goes.
