heroes season two (american person wanted)

is there a season two of heroes in Britain the last episode of season 1 is on Wednesday but my mate says season two is finishing in America if it exists is it good?

They're only half way I think, season 1 was 23 episodes and they're only up to 11 of season 2 in america.
I know we're going to see episode 7 tomorrow night...

And yeah, so far from what I've seen, it's great, a couple of new characters with really cool powers.

While I understand the strike, I am gutted. I don't own a TV and Prison Break, Heroes and Ugly Betty are the only things I watch and they're all being stopped!!!!!
