harry potter!!

okok...first of all...harry potter and the half blood prince comes to bookshelfs in....13 days people..i repeat, 13 days. then..harry potter 4 comes out to theatres on ..november 18th i believe, correct me if im wrong.
soo who is excited!!! does anyone have any predicaments onto what they think might happen in this book???

That book comes out on the same day as my birthday . . . July 16th. For the past three years, horrible things have come out on my birthday. Last year, it was I Robot with Will SMith, and the year before that it was A Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff. Now, I have to hear about that damn Harry Potter book. Ugh, I hate my birthday.

I'm not a fan of Harry Potter, for the simple facts that it is way too popular and it is just not good writing. There are mistakes all throughout (more than ever since she fired her editor, I heard). She does not use characterization too well, and I have heard that there are plotholes. I know, it's a children's book, but when as many people read it as are now, then it should be better. Why the hell are thirty-year-old reading this stuff?

omg new harry potter movie? IM SO THERE!!!!

i'm sooo excited!!! i've been reading the 5th book 2 keep up wats been going on and it's just making me wanting the 6th book more!!!! and the movie comes out 2 days before my bday!!! i just cant wait!!!

The story is more suited to thirty-year-olds now. They started out as children's books, but as they became more popular among older audiences, she...evolved isn't really the word, but she changed the story to suit older audiences. Most children can't handle a 750 page book with the kind of content they have in them now.

I can't help it, I like them.

That said, I still think she's a juvenile writer . . . but let people like what they want. It's their decision after all. As long as it doesn't hurt me or anyone else, it's fine.

She is a children's book author...nothing more...she isn't steinback...she isn't tolkien...and for being a children's book author she is a pretty damn good one...seriously you can't pre judge those book...they are awesome...

and I must say I was VERY dissapointed with the last movie (it did such an injustice to the book...) that I hope the Goblet of Fire film is better...since the Goblet of Fire is my favourite Harry Potter book it better be good!!

and I cant wait for the next book...I have been waiting for this moment for what? 3 years!!? Its about time JKR!!

Harry potter is so boring

I just like the creativity of it, who cares if there's typos or plotholes? I like books that let you live in some one elses imagnination with out giving you a migrane like scholar work can. but hey, it's just my opinion, but i think harry potter is a good book. It proves that writing can take people to different worlds, ones that we can escape from our reality in!

I don't care if it's for chilren or thirty year olds! heck, i read phsycology books and im only 15. lol. I think it's brilliant, yes in some ways childish, but sometimes we all need a break from reality, and that's why there's a library!
