depends on how you defend attack.
some will deem it as an attack, whilst others will not, but either way its does make him look like a tool especially after saying family's are not fair game.
its pretty mild compared to what palins daughter suffered, but it has the same affect i.e makes the person saying the crap, look desperate and sad.
*edit* actually it was 100% an attack, i missed the part where he basically called the girl stupid.
