Talent shows/sponsored silence/headshave/leg wax for any men/jumble sale, etc.

Raised a few grand for the bushfire appeal here earlier this year though.

Like American baseball--but played with a fat ball for older guys/gals. In the snow it's just fun-----the bases are poles--it's a fund raiser when in the parks when it's cold after a major snow storm.

slow pitch is definitely for the non-softballers. But fastpitch was in the Olympics and everything.

The run/walk idea is good, usually around here they have a bunch of beer at the end.

We've done beer busts at local bars here, not sure if you can over there. You get a bar to buy a keg or two of beer and raffle off prizes, everyone pays x amt of money to get in and the proceeds go to the charity.

When I fundraised for sports we sold candy, shirts, and pizzas and stuff.

We also volunteered time to businesses that would then pay the charity instead of the worker. Which was like concessions at sporting events or a book factory.

A bikini car-wash will raise a lot of funds real quick!!!!
