friends change because you do..

why is it that friends can't accept change?..

i've lost all of my friends from around here, i used to hang around with them ect but noooo not no more..no i listen to rock and heavy metal they don't want nothing to do with me...

why are people like this?

Some people like everything to stay the same so when something or someone changes, they shy away.

if they ditch you because you're dressing diferently or listening to different music,
you don't need them.

i have friends with musical tastes ranging from boyzone to cradle of filth.
...now i might make fun of boyzone a bit
but its a ridiculous way to judge a person.

some people are very weird aout their cliques.
i think it makes them feel less insecure if they don't have to confront people with different ideas directly on an emotional level as a friend.
that way they can sit back and talk about how much they hate them for no reason

they do that an aweful lot, sitting back and talking about how much they hate me

ah well, time to move on i guess..

I run into old friends, and they hug me and tell me how much they missed me and get all worked up and excited to see me,
and then never talk to me again until we run into each other again,and then it's the same thing all over.

Some things take time, dont stress, its not worth it and REAL friends wouldnt
behave like this anyway! Did you become a christian or something? why did you
stop listening to this type of music. My best friends are all down with alternative
music, and some Metal, and are open minded! Get some new friends you may
find even greater happiness...My best advise? F em! Be a leader not a follower
than you can pick and choose (if youd like!)

ok well i see what ur saying. i feel like ive lost my two best friends becuz of that. and its really hard. i dont want to have a bad relationship with them from here on out if we cant be friends. its really frustrating. just stick with the people that accept you for you. thats kinda what i did.
