email address

I was playing around with the yahoo search engine and i put my email address into it and it came up from TFS.. but then when I went to go into my privacy to change that, i found that i had already clicked "Disallow" and then i tried again, and it still came up. so then i deleted my email entirely lol.. and its still showing up... how come?

Is there anyway to disallow searching by USERNAME?

It might take a while for the search engines to figure out the change.

Once they do it won't come up anymore. It could take a couple months though.

Not really. Even if you tell them not to index it, the username is still in the URL and they pretty much keep that in their database even if you don't want them to. I even have pages that haven't existed for a LONG TIME and they still show up in the search results just as the address without a title or description.
