alright here goes nothing, so ive met this chick and shhe seems like a genuinely nice girl, but the problem is i have been stuck in a rut for the past 5 or so years dating one chick on and off (sad but pretty much my only relationship) until she got prego with another guys kid (story for another time)
problem is this is all new to me, my brothers wife told me bout her and all, but ive never met her and we have just txted one evening...
should i wait a bit so as to not seem clingish, should i set up a date or just take it slow and get to know her better via alternate means...
it wouldnt be a big deal but i am kind of a mole and dont meet many ppl ever... any advice would help

If you've literally just met (so to speak), I would just get to know her a bit slowly before actually meeting. And even after that, you can still agree to be friends if you hit it off; maybe meet up and do things together. Will get you out more. And maybe you will meet others through her.
