Sadsam what the heck are yu doing drinking at your age? you should have been caught and her to so yu could get some counseling. You could have looked in the phone book and found an AA number. sometimes they will come to your aid. also even tho you wouldnt like it, call the police. How would you have felt or what whould you have done if she had o.d.? I can address this problem cause I was 14 once myself. I remeber crossing into Minneapolis and getting beer etc. or us driving to Hudson. I lived in Menomonie so we could cross over pretty easy. take it easy son. You have a lot to live for.

You know I have learned a long time ago that people will learn from their own mistakes or the mistakes of others....personally I like to learn from other people's, its less painful.

Well said. I learned from a lot of my own mistakes, but I also learned from a lot of my mother's mistakes. It's good to keep your eyes and ears open, and pay attention to what's going on around you.

I wish I had listened to the people who were older than me when I was a teenager. But you think you know everything at that age.

I think there's nothing nicer than when a boy/man gently stops you from becoming completely intoxicated and they get you home safely and make sure you have plenty of water to drink before you go to sleep. When they say goodnight and get you home without taking advantage. That sort of maturity at any age is very attractive.
Age is NO excuse, its goddamn manners! I hope people can learn something from this.
