download accelorator manager

im on a 2mbps connection but getting speeds around 495 kbps, this is being looked into and probably end up changign isps but that's a different story, i just wanted to know if i downloaded a free 'download accelorator manager' would this help me in watching streamline video like news as at the moment cause the connection is so crap it make it really choppy, any idea? good evening by the way

A download accelerator manager would do nothing whatsoever for streaming media.

What type of internet connection do you have? DSL?

adsl, i use to like watching cnn streamline but can't cause of the speed. i use to have 1mbps and it use to be fine with things like cnn but its gone a bit pear shaped. apart from upin my speed which im hoping is there any accelorator someone can recommend for streamline video

There are no programs or devices that will help.

Does anyone else use your internet connection?
Do you use P2P programs like bittorrent or Limewire?
Do you browse the internet while watching Streamline?
Have you tested your internet connection speed with a speed tester?
Have you contacted your ISP about the issue?

Im with jonny on this one I dont think there is any programs out there that increase streaming speed.

oh well just wondered, no i don't do p2p and the speed tests they just laugh at me. My internet provider is aware but lets just say theyre famous for there crap speeds.
